Akti Studios Paleokastro

The area around Paleokastro is still completely untouched by mass tourism. And that’s not going to change any time soon. Numerous archaeological treasures are thought to lie around the beautiful beaches of Kouremenos and Chiona, so building is prohibited.

Only a handful of houses and two or three taverns interrupt the view of olive trees, countless herb bushes, such as thyme, oregano and sage, the ‘table mountain’, the two beaches of Chiona and Kouremenos and the blue of the wide sea glistening in the sun.

Our Akti Studios were completed just two years ago in this natural and historic location. The five studios, in their light, soft colours, blend beautifully into their surroundings. The Aktis Studios were built for two people, but there are two additional beds on the fold-out sofa bed. The modern, fresh and extremely tasteful design and the good facilities make our guests want to return to their holiday home after every excursion. But you don’t have to go far. The two terraces are wonderful places to have breakfast or read a book in peace. If it gets too warm for you, the pool with its sun loungers and parasols is just behind the studios, and the beach with its wonderfully clear water is just a few steps away.

The family of the friendly landlord runs a small taverna not far from the apartments. Here you will meet the whole family, grandma, grandpa, the brother and sister-in-law and the whole brood of children, all helping out and rarely letting guests go home without a few home-brewed rakis…
