Welcome to our beautiful and unique Apothikes Suites! It is with great pleasure that we present this excellent rarity to you! Our four highly coveted Apothikes Suites: Ammos Suite, Avra Suite, Illios Suite and Thalassa Suite. These four extraordinary beach suites were once used to store carob pods, which were exported from Crete to the whole world. A few years ago, a local hotelier recognised the potential and special character of these rooms and, with a great deal of commitment and passion, converted them into these beautiful accommodations.

The four suites are located directly on the beach, and from their tamarisk-adorned terraces, you can access the crystal-clear sea directly via a wooden walkway. It doesn’t get any better than this! This area is still largely untouched and uncrowded, so you can relax wonderfully here to the sound of the sea. The air-conditioned suites are well equipped and offer a wonderful level of comfort with a comfortable living area (2 further sleeping possibilities on sofa beds), a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The modern technology includes satellite TV and internet. The suites are perfect for couples looking for a quiet, romantic place to stay. Another highlight is that our Apothikes guests have free access to the pool and hotel beach at the neighbouring Kakkos Bay hotel. The hotel’s own beach taverna is also highly recommended, with its fabulous sea view and excellent Cretan cuisine. In conclusion, the location is unique and fantastic and from here you can easily explore the east of the island with your rental car. Many attractions await you here, lots of nature, countless bathing bays, gorges and numerous quaint mountain villages – and a warm place to come back to after each excursion.
