A charming holiday home in southern Crete

Our spacious, detached holiday home, Marias Paradise, is located just a three-minute drive from a long beach in the beautiful, unspoilt holiday resort of Koutsounari on Crete’s south coast. There are plenty of charming cafés, tavernas and shops in the immediate vicinity of the house. Europe’s southernmost town, Ierapetra, is just a few kilometres away and offers a pretty promenade, numerous restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as several supermarkets. Ferries to the beautiful island of Chrissi also depart from here. Numerous other attractions on the island, such as Kato Zakros, are easily accessible by car, the hire of which is included in the holiday price.

This quietly situated, fully air-conditioned holiday home with sea views offers plenty of space for a family of four or two couples. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom, featuring twin washbasins, meets modern standards. There is a cosy living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining area, and a beautifully landscaped Mediterranean garden with palm trees. The highlight of the outdoor area is the large BBQ area with a brick-built barbecue and stone oven. The lovely terrace is also very cosy, featuring a swing seat and a large dining table.
