Mirtini Apartment, Myrtos

The pleasant town of Myrtos, located in the south of Crete, is particularly popular with bathers due to its location directly on the beach. The water is clear and perfect for snorkeling. A water sports station offers pedal boats and surfboards for hire, but banana boats, jet skis and the like are not available. This would be much too loud and hectic for the leisurely pace of daily life in Myrtos. Here, the clocks simply tick differently, and the locals are very friendly and always take time for their neighbors.

If you are looking for a change from days at the beach, you can hike the breathtaking Sarakina Gorge, which is just a few kilometers from Myrtos. Because of its high cliffs, it is considered the “little sister” of the famous Samaria Gorge. In spring, mountain water often flows through the gorge, so it can get a bit wet from time to time! An adventure for the whole family! There are countless other hiking trails to choose from, and herb tours are also offered in the village.

The newly renovated Mirtini Apartments are located in the center of the village, right next to the small village square. The apartments have a garden with a seating area and a gazebo where you can eat, play or chill together.

Three of the apartments have a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and a bedroom and are suitable for 2-4 people.

Two of the apartments each have two bedrooms and are therefore suitable for 4-6 people, one of which has 2 bathrooms.

The Mirtini holiday apartments are decorated in friendly, light colors, the rooms are spacious and a lot of attention has been paid to the small details in the furnishings.

The beach is only a few meters away, as is the pretty promenade with its quaint taverns where you can taste Cretan cuisine.
