The Diktynna residences are nestled in the historic mountain village of Anatoli, in southeastern Crete. Restored traditional village houses have been transformed into luxurious vacation homes with great effort and passion, offering a wonderful combination of traditional elegance and comfortable interiors.

The enchanting mountain village of Anatoli truly lives up to its name: “Anatoli” means, among other things, “sunrise,” as the first rays of the morning sun literally flood the village! Anatoli looks back on a long history; even today, the ruins of a Venetian tower can be seen at the eastern end of the village. Built in the shape of an amphitheater, it nestles against the foothills of the Dikty Mountains, where Zeus, the father of the gods, is said to have been born in a cave. Anatoli lies at an altitude of about 600 meters, and the view of the coast and the sea is magnificent! Anatoli is one of the 15 most beautiful villages in all of Crete, and every house has preserved its traditional architecture.
